Setting up your CoCloud account is the first step to accessing all the powerful features CoCloud has to offer. This guide walks you through the complete account creation process.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- A valid email address
- A mobile phone number
- Internet connectivity
- Access to your email inbox for verification
Account Creation Process
The account setup process consists of several steps:
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Access Sign Up Page
- Navigate to the CoCloud Customer Portal
- Click on Sign Up or Create Account button
- You'll be redirected to the registration page
If you're accessing through a partner link, the signup process may vary slightly. Contact your partner for specific instructions.
Step 2: Enter Account Information
Fill in the required information:
Email Address
- Enter a valid email address
- This will be your login username
- Ensure you have access to this email
Password
- Create a strong password
- Minimum 8 characters
- Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters
Confirm Password
- Re-enter your password to confirm
- Must match the password entered above
Mobile Number
- Enter your mobile phone number
- Include country code
- This will be used for OTP verification
Country
- Select your country from the dropdown
- This helps with phone number formatting
Step 3: Accept Terms and Conditions
- Read the Terms and Conditions
- Read the Privacy Policy
- Check the box to accept terms
- Review any additional agreements
Step 4: Submit Registration
- Review all entered information
- Click Sign Up or Create Account
- Wait for the confirmation message
Step 5: Email Verification
After submitting:
- Check Your Email: Look for a verification email from CoCloud
- Find Verification Link: The email contains a verification link
- Click the Link: Click the verification link in the email
- Verification Complete: You'll be redirected to a confirmation page
If you don't receive the verification email:
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Wait a few minutes and check again
- Verify the email address was entered correctly
- Use the "Resend Verification Email" option
Common Issues During Signup
Email Already Registered
If you see "Email already registered":
- You may have an existing account
- Try logging in instead
- Use password reset if you forgot your password
- Contact support if you need assistance
Invalid Email Format
Ensure your email:
- Contains @ symbol
- Has a valid domain name
- Doesn't contain spaces
- Is spelled correctly
Password Requirements Not Met
Your password must:
- Be at least 8 characters long
- Contain at least one uppercase letter
- Contain at least one lowercase letter
- Contain at least one number
- Contain at least one special character
Mobile Number Issues
If you have trouble with mobile number:
- Ensure country code is selected correctly
- Remove any spaces or special characters
- Use international format if needed
- Contact support if OTP is not received
After Account Creation
Once your account is created and verified:
- Complete Onboarding: Proceed to the Onboarding Flow
- Verify Mobile: Complete mobile number verification
- Set Up Instance: Configure your first cloud instance
- Start Using CoCloud: Begin accessing your accounting software
Security Best Practices
When creating your account:
- Use Strong Password: Create a unique, strong password
- Secure Email: Use a secure email account
- Verify Promptly: Complete email verification immediately
- Keep Credentials Safe: Don't share your login credentials
- Enable 2FA: Set up two-factor authentication after login
