Common Connectivity Problems

Slow Connection Speed

Diagnosis:

  1. Run Connectivity Test
  2. Check download/upload speeds
  3. Compare to minimum requirements (1 Mbps)

Solutions:

  • Use wired connection instead of Wi-Fi
  • Close bandwidth-heavy applications
  • Contact ISP if speeds below plan
  • Test at different times

Ping Drops

Diagnosis:

  1. Run ping drop test
  2. Monitor for "Request Time Out" messages
  3. Check drop rate percentage

Solutions:

  • Test with wired connection
  • Restart router/modem
  • Check for Wi-Fi interference
  • Contact ISP for line quality check

Cannot Connect

Diagnosis:

  1. Test internet connectivity (ping google.com)
  2. Check firewall settings
  3. Verify DNS settings

Solutions:

  • Check internet connection
  • Disable firewall temporarily to test
  • Try different DNS servers
  • Contact support if persists
